Re: Contrast in cabin looks wierd
The in-game visuals are meant to replicate what a camera would see rather than the human eye. If you were to put a camera in the cab of a truck and put a camera on the roof of a truck, you would get the same results.
Re: Contrast in cabin looks wierd
Conclusion: For a better experience ... just drive mostly with roof camera ... like me.
Re: Contrast in cabin looks wierd
I think it's not good reason for such weird issue. We have eyeballs in eyeholls, not cameras.supersobes wrote: ↑24 Sep 2021 20:15 The in-game visuals are meant to replicate what a camera would see rather than the human eye. Re: Contrast in cabin looks wierd
and there is no personal computer in the world that comes even close to simulate what the human eye can do, every game uses this workaround because it is impossible to simulate it with weak hardware

Humans eye have a 18-20 f-stops dynamic range. Your monitor has 9 at best. Camera sensor are up to 11-12 for good ones. What I said on the previous page about this problem.
I have approximate knowledge of many things
Re: Contrast in cabin looks wierd
I don't speak about ATS must simulate human eye vision. I just saying the in cabin contrast is too high. Many other games has better contrast with less gpu capacity. I didn't even talk about AAA projectsxXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021 16:10 and there is no personal computer in the world that comes even close to simulate what the human eye can do, every game uses this workaround because it is impossible to simulate it with weak hardware

You can try it if you'd like. Disabling bloom makes the view out the window easier to see out of during dawn and dusk.nodin747 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2021 13:57it has no affect. bloom just make bright stuffs glowoldmanclippy wrote: ↑29 Sep 2021 17:24 I just disable bloom and it makes driving from the interior camera much easier.
