How am I driving
Re: How am I driving
Law abiding for the most part. However I won’t slow down for road events and for scenery towns in between, I’ll just let the vehicle coast instead of applying brakes. I have turned off the fines too, just to be safe.
So ‘half reckless’ it is.

I drive how i feel like driving.I don't know every US laws,so i might break some.I play this game to have fun,not to know every laws.
So,i have voted for the 2nd option.I'm not totally reckless, but not totally following all laws either.
After all,it's a game so nothing will happen if i break some laws.

Re: How am I driving
When I'm driving at 3:30AM through a town and hit a red light, I have been known to slow and pass through without stopping (when there is no traffic, which is frequent at that time of morning)
Like someone else said, merging: I never stop, I'll ride the breakdown lane until I can safely merge in (stopping is a non option).
I do try to follow speed laws (truck limits) Max over 5mph anywhere. Places where the truck limit 70 but the car limit is 80, I've been known to ride 74-75mph.
If traffic is in front of me: there is no breaking any rules. Stuck at their mercy.

Re: How am I driving
Same!
I always turn off fines, mostly because of the inaccuracy in how fault is calculated (always toward the player), and the aforementioned lack of flashing yellow lights.
I also don't slow down for those random 150ft long work zones (again... Iowa) or those annoying random 35 zones on the 65mph highway (southern Texas).
Re: How am I driving
Half law-abiding/half reckless! If the AI gets in the way i push it, if i come to a stop light/sing and there's no traffic i don't stop, my speed limit setting is on "car speeds" and i drive at whatever speed limit the road shows unless i'm limited by the WOT limiter and i honk the AI all the time.
Re: How am I driving
Definitely law abiding ... In real life, of course.
As this is a game, I can relax myself and do what I can't in real life: Just to drive according to road conditions. Don't crashing and simply smooth driving.
Just in a word:
F R E E D O M

Re: How am I driving
I drive how you would expect a skilled driver to drive IRL. I don't follow all rules by the line because, NO ONE, does that IRL... I stick to the speed limit and when i think the speed limit on a certain area is too low, i set my CC to stay 4mph above the limit (Example: Cali is 55 so i set my CC to 58/59). And lately I've been staying far behind Ai's because they have a big tendency to brake check me. I tick every single option that increases the simulation aspect and remove every single one that hinders it.
Re: How am I driving
For the most part, I try to drive correctly and safely.
But sometimes I'll be in a hurry to finish a job before I leave my computer, or something to that end. It's rather amazing how many traffic laws vanish when that happens. I at least try to avoid crashing, but sometimes the AI just kinda has it coming, you know?

Re: How am I driving
I go about 65 in California, like most truckers do in the real world.
Seriously, take a stroll down I5 in reality and tell me how many trucks are actually maintaining the 55 crap versus the ones who aren't.
I get passed by many other trucks, because the ones who can go faster do. We all get passed by the police who can, and do, go 80 or more.

On my multi-million dollar profile, reckless more often. Particularly when I’m discovering the map back to 100%
On my vanilla profile, 100% law abiding 100% of the time. At least that’s what I try to do
