Re: ATS 1.42 discussion thread
Maybe it will take time to get used to the new FFB but as it currently is i don't liked it. Stationary the wheel feels far too heavy. I'm not tweaking the settings either as i want a realistic setting not something that maybe just feels right. In the 4 years i've had ATS this is by far the most underwhelming update. If 1.43 comes before the year is out i will cut SCS some slack, but as of now i'm disappointed.

same feeling...
im using a Simucube 2 Pro system with up to 25 Nm (reduced to 15Nm in the Software from the system and now more reduced in the game (maybe 7.5 - 10 Nm). before it was relative light but with a nice resistance while turning the wheel.
now it is to light, then to heavy and has this weird tilt around the center followed getting stronger or softer afterwards.
really annoying...

I have the same issue with the older Logitech G27. Some of the feeling does seemed improved but the turning of the wheel left and right seems off and when centering the wheel there is a little none friction section in the middle that I don't like

If you're guys having any problem, it's good read the FAQ: https://blog.scssoft.com/2021/10/force- ... k-faq.html
And of course and importantly, put in the default the settings and adjust again, there may be some conflict between the old and the new settings.

Re: ATS 1.42 discussion thread
I drive a Direct Drive Wheel and it feels like the game tries to simulate a super cheap rubber band Wheel. There so much wobbling around, absolute no constant force when turning the wheel around the 0 point. I hope I get this thing to work somehow but at the moment it feels like a bad joke.

Re: ATS 1.42 discussion thread
Was wondering if in 1.42 ATS added any more of the mileage signs? Like instead of arrows they actually updated it to have miles. Not necessarily make or break but just wondering since its been such a needed upgrade in the game.

Hi
Old g25 wheel turner here. Wheel turns from left to right as its suppose to do, old cars have that dead center when trying to go straight.
Not so familiar with ats cruise control, but when cc is on and on manual, why cannot disengage gear or change gear unless take cc off and after that can change?

I haven't noticed any new mileage signs on this update. I guess they'll continue adding them with 1.43.
