Sorry you lost me here I have always assumed the driver were left or right in a semi truck unless you are driving other types of machinery where you indeed will have a center and only position
Is this an US thing?

Haha, lol, no, just a misalignment with the screen. The red line is the middle of the screen area, the whole interior is moved to the right because the camera is not centered as it should.

I don't remember which one it was; but I'm 200% sure I've seen a Youtube "review" (to call it somewhat) of a US truck (pretty modern, one of those aero types) in which the driver explained the fact the seat was NOT centered regarding the wheel to be something that annoyed him a lot. Maybe was this truck and that's exactly what SCS is depicting in that camera shift.

I don’t know that, but as far as I can remember, Anthem is the only truck in ATS with this peculiarity and Mercedes New Actros is the only one in ETS2. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ahh sitting on the edge to the left - who would do that? Pretty uncomfortable
Thanks for taking the time to explain :)

About the new FFB. To me the wheel centering forces seems a bit jumpy or twitchy in lack of better terms. Almost as if there's a deadzone before the FFB kicks in. This is especially true at very low speeds like when parking a trailer and when accelerating from a total stop while turning the steering wheel. The low speed vs high speed centering forces feels quite unbalanced too IMO. At about 35 mph the centering force flattens out to virtually 0 even with the high speed slider set all the way to the right. I do realize that the centering force isn't that pronounced at higher speeds IRL either and my concern is the balance between low/high centering forces

I'm sure these kind of glitches will be ironed out in due time, but would like to hear what you guys experiences are on the subject. FWIW i'm using a Fanatec CSW2 wheelbase.

Yes, but since FFB in driving sims tends to be one of the most subjective topics, i thought it might be a good idea to check the general opinion first.

I've got low speed centering on minimum and high speed on max and it still feels much heavier at slow speed and almost no feel at road speed. Also I have to have engine resonance disabled as it makes the wheel feel jerky. This is on a G29.

Still getting frames/micro stuttering issues, tried ets2 which is on 1.41 and it is smooth and flawless. Tried vanilla profile on ats and frame rate and stuttering same with a fresh profile in ats.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.
