Re: ATS 1.43 Open Beta Discussion Thread
@Bedavd I can move the map by using the right thumbstick on an Xbox controller. Does that not work for you?
Re: ATS 1.43 Open Beta Discussion Thread
I have played gamepad for about 7 years (viewtopic.php?f=41&t=105166) in ETS2 and ATS (logitech cordless rumblepad 2) and everything in the UI has always worked well. I just gave myself "enter" as a button where the PS2 pad has a square. For these 7 years - I have nothing to complain about and report.
My controls.sii:

Edit:
@Vojta
So i tested new ui_gamepad_mode 1:
No slider works, even after clicking on it or holding down the action button and trying to move the left analog knob.
They didn't work before from what I remember either, so I think this is the perfect time to change that.
Once the active slider is selected, we should be able to control it with the right analog knob in my opinion / Or by holding down the action button and controlling with the left analogue knob.
It would be useful to have an option like "escape" on the keyboard that closes the active window without having to point the cursor at the "x"
Maybe in "O" symbol in Playstation controlel layout?
Also, the map does not move by moving the cursor to the borders of the active map window (Although I think it randomly worked once as I started putting new navigation points on the map.). Maybe an option to move the map with the right analog knob, and zoom in on R2 and out on L2?

Hi it is no secret that we prepare UI control with gamepad. Today we wanted mplement full changes to public_beta, but not everything goes best. .. there is only part, rest of them will came next week.
The files should not be edited yet, but you see alone.
Re: ATS 1.43 Open Beta Discussion Thread
My key settings did not change after switching to ui_gamepad_mode 1. So I think there is nothing to worry about.
Re: ATS 1.43 Open Beta Discussion Thread
@Glutinous Rice Nice! I hadn't noticed that at all! Also, after playing around with the map more I found that the "triangle" button can be used to delete route pins. So all my complaints in part 1 of my comment are completely invalid hahaha.
I would still rather the courser not jump over to "Drive" mode when we close out of a screen. So that complaint still stands. Otherwise I actually think that the world map is now a LOT more usable with the joystick movement.

I don't know if it's a mistake, but today I noticed on two road scales that cars go to the scales and stop to dare, it didn't happen before the 1.43 open beta

The only way to deal with this is to make a proper bug report. Reproduce it, make a screenshot, upload your game log etc.
Re: ATS 1.43 Open Beta Discussion Thread
Ceco you need to report this on a clean profile (include your game log) and post the locations. There have been reports on this previously however they were with profiles with mods and I cannot reproduce this here on a clean profile.
Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

@natvander I don't use fashion and I've never used it, I noticed it on two weighing stations, one on I-15 in Utah near Ogden, the other on I-84 in Idaho, the name of the weighing station is West Bound Rest area & DOT State Scale, unfortunately I can't entrust the game log and the pictures since I don't know how to do it, but I want to help

^ Not quite sure what you're saying there. But perhaps this article can help with getting the log and coordinates? viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16653
