Ipec also had their own truck designs - the Tiger (I think based on a Leader design) and the International/Atkinson 4870. They were pioneers in a lot of areas of long distance transport. Their 'motels' could sleep up to 20 drivers and had modern kitchens and recreation areas.
Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I like the day cab. Maybe not for a whole week but for a night here or there I think it's not too much to ask for the company to put me up

Trucks are made for work not sleeping in.

What other industry forces people to sleep in their workplace. Even airline pilots and train drivers have a separate living area
Is it too much to ask to have the vanilla SCS companies on the AI truck traffic???

What is the point of choosing a company name and logo when it's not used in the game???

In 20 years of trucking IRL I've never reversed a tanker onto a dock

And get to sleep at their.... probably comfy home at night. 8-)

Unless they prefer the night shift..... although I don't know if any of them would do that.
Companies like FedEx and UPS more than likely run their operations 24 hours a day, so day shift and night shift might be driving the same trucks. If they do that, the trucks pretty much never stop rolling.
Centrino2 wrote:Orange..... oh... wait.... their name is Yellow not orange XD, but yet their logo is the color orange (not sure who approved that :? )
Although they merged with Roadway, so actually, they're now YRC. That said, you do still see Yellow and Roadway trucks and trailers in addition to YRC trucks and trailers.

It would have to be Indiana, as the only places they're even allowed in that area are on the Indiana Toll Road and the Ohio Turnpike.

take a moment to reflect on SCS games like the 18 wheels of steel series and tell me if none of those games from SCS have a double. And secound of all with the new features they are releasing it seems we are not to far from getting them. Let alone they wanna get more of the map done before even releasing the wood trailer unlike others that went in the files and unlocked them.

What new features give you the impression that doubles are coming?

I'm sure this must have been asked but....

If the MP team managed to build doubles, what were wrong with those? Clearly it is possible. I had high hopes when I originally seen it back in 2014  . Here is a video for the curious fellows:

I guess the problem isn't to make double trailers, but to make them fit the game environment and integrate them properly into the game mechanics. Think of the Tramery company, do you think it would be easy to enter in with a double, when some players have difficulties with just the normal trailers?
