I was wondering why all dash lights are white unless they're warnings????
Are there any plans to have the actual Dash light colors?
It's just something that kind of bugs me.

all four of them tbh it's as if the dash lights are non existent. for example the 389 should light up orange when you hit the lights, or the w900 blue and/or green.
they just remain white turning on the lights makes no difference.

Why would he need to post a screenshot? Unless I completely misunderstand him, he's talking about the color of the backlighting of the dash, gauges and etc. He wants color back lighting. There are mods to change them but I don't know if any are updated.

Changing the dashboard background light is an easy job that changes either dashboard_color.sui content, either the dashboard.dds texture, either both, and nothing really changed in the previous months, so most of the mods will work with no problem.

As far as my research goes, Pete 389 has indeed an yellow-orange color light, but Kenworth W900 and T680 have just plain white light, those blue/gree/whatever seem to be aftermarket options. I'm not sure about the dashboard color for 579, I chose same color as Pete 389 for my personal customisation.

Later edit: the only trucks that have realistic dashboard illumination are DAF XF 105 and DAF Euro 6 from ETS2, i hope in time SCS will tweak more truck. They need it anyway, since most of the dashboards use very low-res texture (256x256px or 512x512px).
