new transport trailers for ATS?
Re: new transport trailers for ATS?
You couldn't make a turn in ATS's offramps with that trailer.

Re: new transport trailers for ATS?
Since ETS2 is getting an oversized DLC soon (hopefully by Christmas according to the blog post), there is a possibility ATS will get something similar in due time. Just requires a lot of research as there are various regulations when it comes to oversized loads in the states.
Re: new transport trailers for ATS?
ATS will definitely get oversized eventually. Considering lately what one game gets, the other gets. If ATS doesn't get oversized down the road, I hate to say it, but SCS will deserve to get flamed for it. It would be unfair and I wouldn't jump on making rants but I would side with those that also claim unfairness. Butttttttt, I don't think it will get to that point.
In regards to you video, that is way too big for ATS. I don't think we should get anything longer than the heavy haul with the spreader. SCS will more than likely give us an oversized trailer or two for the oversized loads, but I wouldn't bother trying to haul anything remotely close that video. The AI along with the escort will be one thing, the other are the provided roads. There are many roads in ATS that in real life have more lanes than what SCS provides I am sure. The intent is to give you the driving experience roam the States. Not to be an exact duplicate.
Another factor is to look at all the old attempts for people making mods for doubles without a pivot point. Pretty all turned out to be impossible to get around town. Even though that video had steerable axles, it would be very tedious to haul in ATS.

My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

@IonutL
I believe that's a Faymonville trailer. They export some of their heavy haul trailers to the US, so they're fairly rare over here. They've got steer axles on ALL of their axles, so tight turns are no problem with those trailers.
EDIT: Whoops! It's a Kamag trailer. The rest of my post after the first sentence still applies though.

I'd honestly would actually want to see other things done before special transport in ATS. Maybe something like a breakdown model, where you have to call for roadside service.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.
