Garage doors

#1 Post by TexasWhirlwind » 08 Nov 2017 15:06

Can the garage both doors be adjusted to close when you are inside and parked. And open when you move near one of them. It used to be so but I have not seen that in a long time..

There's a sweet spot in the large garage where you can, indeed, be inside with both doors shut.

I also notice you can hit that "sweet spot" better if you back your rig into the garage. You can hit it pulling in, but I find it easier when I back in.

So there's a garage larger than 5 doors? I can't tell right now as 1.29 has crashed my ATS.

I've been checking them and still a no go. I'll get back to driving.... someday. ;)

If this is the same as in ETS2 (a good possibility), and you have extracted the base.scs file, look in unit\hookup folder for the garage_door.sii and find these lines:

trigger_distance: ##

There's one for each of the sections there, of which there are 7 total. (At least my current one for ETS2 has 7.) Those lines control how close you have to be to the doors for them to open and close. Therefore, you can control the size of that "sweet spot"... [ external image ]
