3440 x 1440 resolution not an option.... why??

Hello all - just got my BD/Christmas present, A Dell AW3420DW ultrawide monitor. Was really looking forward to playing in 21 x 9 mode. But nope, no option for that. Looks really straight forward, just go into graphics and change your display settings and all good, right? But no, I don't have the option for that resolution, just the 1980 x 1020 max, which of course is the standard 16 x 9 mode.

I've been searching all over the net, all I can find is references on youtube and stuff on how to change the settings. Well can't change it to a setting that doesn't exist as an option

I am using HDMI, going from an HP Omen laptop with a GTX 1060 graphics card. When I run Farming Simulator 19, it goes right into that mode, I don't even have to go into my graphic settings to do anything.

So I'm hoping someone here knows why the game is not recoginzing my new Ultra wide screen . Very annoying and I can't quite figure out why this game isn't doing it.

Ok got it straightened out - seems like it was recognizing my 'display 1' only - which is a 16x9 on the laptop. Once I set it to display 2 only, voila wide picture. Now to get used it
