G29 with shifter

I just ordered a g29 and shifter today and I have a couple of questions.

For those who don't have an upgraded shifter knob where do you map your range and splitter selectors?

Also if you have the game set up for an h shift and you want to run a truck with an automatic do toy have to change the options back to automatic or is there a park neutral drive option?

You need to swtich to Real automatic
