Blurry reflections on hood

#1 Post by lgvdbroek » 06 Apr 2021 16:14

@Developers
In the version 1.39 I had a nice shiny black hood. (Kenworth)
Now, after the update to 1.40, it still shines in the outside view, but no longer when I look forward from the cabin.
The hood is very blurry.
So the lightning in 1.40 is very nice, but this actually falls into the reflections category.
Can I set that somewhere?

Or has someone else already asked this and is there a link to that topic?
Regards,

Try setting reflections to 200% in settings but also try turning off SSAO, in my case I had a shadow grid on the hood due to SSAO and that was screwing with reflections.

Just the graphics options, both settings can be found under the advanced tab. One is literally called SSAO the other one Reflections Scale I think, currently in the office so I can't check.

You can read more about SSAO here.
