Make a trailer Advanced Coupling Compatible

#1 Post by Rig Runner » 27 Jun 2017 11:26

Hey, i am new to blender and I am modifying the stock scs trailers from 1.4 (I believe). These trailers are not compatable with advaned coupling, so How would I go about doing that? Thank you! (you may need to break it down kindergarten style for me, :P )

I'm making a standalone paintjob for the short box SCS trailer. I'm using ATS studio, and find my trailer not supporting advanced trailer coupling.

I tried to replace the trailer.pmc in my mod with the one from SCS's original def.scs, but game keeps crashing.

I don't want to go into Blender, because I think it is complex. Can I add the advanced trailer coupling feature to my standablone trailer without using Blender to modify the model?

In theory editing the def file to link to the SCS one (assuming the trailer is the same of course) should work.

Compare the def files, make sure you copied the path to the SCS pmc correctly.

Failed. Game crashed when loading the mod which contained SCS's original collision .pmc.

I'll try to learn Blender from now, and thank you for making the video tutorial!
