May be it would help if you could buy some RAM. 3GB is pathetically low. And using a graphics card that has no internal RAM makes it even worse. But if the warnings would really decrease in quantity I can't promise. In ETS 2 I have seen these warnings only very, very rarely. I don't play ATS actually, but when flying over the country by using the devcam, from Eureka to San Diego, I don't get a single of such warnings.

I have 4 GB of RAM and the same problem. It seems that indeed the problem occurs because of low memory...
For example at this point: -105261;17.0657;384.69;-0.294333;-0.152646

Seems to be more about GPU weaknesses than RAM amount.
Your graphics:

Code: Select all

[dx9] Adapter #0: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 / 128 (1024) MB
Minimum game requirements:
Graphics: GeForce GTS 450-class (Intel HD 4000)
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

the one he has is better then the one SCS recommends

the intel HD 4000 is ivy bridge (Intel Core iX 2XXX)

the Intel HD Graphics 630 is kaby-lake (Intel Core iX 7XXX)

so that shouldn't be a problem

Wrong logic. Kaby-Lake only means it is new. Not that it is powerful. There are very new designs available for cheap laptops.

Google results are telling me this is not hardware for tough gaming.

My computer meets the minimum requirements:

So the errors are the fault of the developers?

i know it is not the 630 but they didnt have the 630 to compare to

why should SCS then recommend a HD 4000 for minimum if it is not for gaming ?

i know it is not for intensiv gaming like GTA but for ETS2 it is enough to at least play it reasonable

___

for the problem

reduce the vegetation and try again if you haven't done it already

Yes, sure. The more there is to be rendered the more a system will suffer. The poorer the system, the bigger the problem.

Page file? That is for data to be swapped between memory and disk, because the isn't enough RAM left. Will kill any game-experience. If that permanently happens while you are gaming, a game become unplayable.

They don't. "Recommended" was an Nvidia GTX 760. That was years ago. Meaning of "Minimum": you can run the base game, on lowest settings. Nothing said about DLC or mods. Such can easily lift the bar for needed hardware to get along.

I use a PC slightly above the recommended settings and could tell that I'd love to have a more powerful one. I bought it four years ago as a mid-range gaming-environment, on a budget.

Why does everybody assume that this is a low-demanding game? It isn't. Never was, never will. Just because it lacks shots and explosions? Al the detail you see comes for a price.
