Hi,
I've been getting into modding ATS recently and have been noticing that I can't get a white light via the alpha layer in the mask like I can with ETS2, is there a different light mask for ATS?
White light light mask change?

Re: White light light mask change?
Lights color is a combination of lightmask and model mapping, which means that some changes will require not only texture modification, but also adjusting model in Blender.
I assume that is the case with the light you try to change in ATS.

The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

ATS vehicle_lamp_colors.sii:
ETS2 vehicle_lamp_colors.sii:
Note the difference in the first line of each file.
ATS has a slightly different one because of the Western Star 49X.

Re: White light light mask change?
Thank you both for your replies.
Wolfi, I have made white lights using light masks in ETS2 so am familiar with the techinques you have mentioned. I followed the same proceedure for ATS, which ends up being more of an orange colour.
Krysemlyn, leading on from what you have mentioned here, I can just copy the ETS lamp colours to the ATS ones and this should change the light mask behaviour in ATS to match the ETS ones?
EDIT
I just tried it, and white positional lights, like the Boreman ones and the lights I have edited, are still showing as orange.
I checked the Modding Wiki which confirmed what Krysemlyn was saying. I edited the vehicle_lamp_colors.sii file to match the ETS one and the front positional lights are still orange. Is there any other files that can affect this?
The work around is to use the DRL function, but this isn't really a fix as the previously mention Boreman lights as well as all other accessories that were white are now orange. Which is a little frustrating to be perfectly honest.
