Sharemods pop ups and ads

is sharemods safe to use?

I see many ads like supermarkets, cars, media shops(PC, hardware) and more

since the time and years goes over i want to know it is still safe?

I have had no problems with sharemods myself. I use an ad blocker called ublock Origin and it stops all the ads and other pages from popping up. I also scan all files first thing after download but have not had any found that had any issues. (I scan all files I download first no matter where I get them from.... )

Get a good adblocker and script blocker if you want to use sharemods. The built in adblockers in many web browsers are absolute junk. I use AdBlock Plus and UBlock Origin and never see an ad anywhere.

Without those that site is a bit deceptive in trying to get you to download a file that is not the mod you are seeking.

Im coming with an idea that i self will create a modding share service but it will take much time
(without ads and that dangerous stuff) (With Wix i have most experience)

Well you could disable java in one of your browsers and use only that browser, for sharemods etc.

By doing that, you will not see any adds whatsoever.
...and even if you ever did, they would not work because they rely on java being enabled and active in your browser.

You'll still be able click the download link and go through the two step process and so you'll still be able to download the mods.

@SimLive i use for opening sharemods: chromium based browser with activated AD block extension with settings for hard block to everything ads and pop ups. nothing else, and i have never been redirected to the other sites. good luck
