Cant use the Map editor

I've never had to load a profile to run the map editor. I run Windows 10, and the ~ key works for the dev console.

As I have said earlier, the '~' key does not work to open the console in Windows 7. This is why in Windows 7 we have to assign the console to a different key in the controls.sii file in a profile, and then load that profile, before opening the console.

I doubt the problem is your video card. Do you have any mods in your mod folder? In the first photo it looks like it loaded the map editor. In the second photo, it looks like the game crashed right after you typed "edit" in the console. After the game crashes from typing "edit", can you copy your game.log.txt file to Pastebin and post the link here?

That shouldn't matter. The Radeon drivers themselves tend to cause problems with everything.

I tried everything, I get to the area that I can chose a road piece then when i lay it down my screen turns black and I have to restart the pc

Is this with a fresh start or are you using something you already put into a mod? If it is about working on something you did already with 1.28, did you apply the measures of the 1.29 modding guides?

Second: Whenever the editor shows an unusual behavior, the first thing I try is to end the session and delete everything in the "editor" folder - to be found in the games "home" directory, next to the mod folder. Sometimes it had helped, sometimes not.

But I don't have much hope that any of this will help in your case, I just thought you should know these things. It sounds like a driver issue - or a hardware condition. But you never know.
