error when entering american truck simulator map editor 1.39

#1 Post by Albajad_Mamad » 30 Nov 2020 18:48

Every time I try to enter the map editor, the game stops working and closes automatically, I don't know how to solve it, I already tried deleting the "american Truck Simulator" folder found in my documents but nothing works.

In the launch parameters of the game I have the "-edit" is there something I am doing wrong?

It got to be "-edit usa". Or a different mapname, whatever you try to do.

The error you show is harmless. When the editor was used successfully, this file will be crated.

But please don't post fragments of the log only, and don't post pictures of the log. Better post the full, complete log, as text, with the help of a service like "pastebin". No idea why the game closes, but without the full log it is getting difficult to say anything.

You do not have to enter a map name. Leaving it blank opens a new map.
As for the game closing, it's probably a mod asset causing the crash. The Editor loads EVERY mod from both your Mods folder and the Workshop folder, regardless of their status as enabled or disabled.

Correct. On all accounts. As he mentioned 1.39, I thought he already has a map which is crashing now. Possibly not.
