File limit in the Mods
Hello. The game update introduced a limited number of files that can be included in the modification. Why was it introduced and why is it so small? 60,000 files? I am forced to divide the mod into several files unnecessarily. By splitting the mod into several zip files, the game will load all the files anyway. There are more and more different mods on the internet. A large number of zip packs in the "mod" folder make a mess. Unable to increase the number of files in mods?

this limit was there forever, how many files do you have in a simple truck mod that exceeds this ? not even RJL has done it with his Scania R/S and 4 series mod, i only know of SiSl to reach it and he has thousands of accessories for hundreds of trucks in his accessory mod

Map mods tend to exceed it.
They should try to remove the limit. Not sure why it is there, or what changes would be required to remove it. However, if one can simply split the mod and load all the files anyway, I see no reason they shouldn't be able to be loaded in one mod...

I am bothered by this limit when creating a mod with new loads for trailers. Lots of new definition files in the "cargo" folder and in the "company" folder, in which with each US state dlc there are new companies, most of the definitions must be defined for the "in" and "out" folders. The whole definition mod has over 60,000 files but the zip archive weighs only 5.40 MB.
Once upon a time I encountered limitations for PMD models, in this case I understand the limitation as poorly optimized 3D models could slow down the game a lot.
In the case of many definition files alone, I find this limitation on the number of files a bit excessive.
I'd like to know SCS's opinion, if they read this at all ...

ATS base.scs has over 100,000 files/folders tho.
If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

the ATS base has a bit over 71.000 files in it, not over 100.000

And the .scs format fromt the game isnt zipfs, it is a derivate, only we got zipfs which has a limit of 65536 if it isnt zip64

ok, but it's not half the states yet. The map will keep growing, and so the mods will also get bigger ...

map mods are always split into archives, i didnt see any map mod that is as big as ETS2 in only 1 file
