I'm getting a random black screen crash that causes me to have to restart my computer. It happens at random places on the map, and at random play duration.
The profile is modded, however I play with a friend who also runs the same mods without issue. Only difference between our systems is I run AMD and he runs Nvidia.
My PC specs exceed what's required to run ATS and I run other games without issue. I've also been on top of driver updates.
I'm seeing a ton of this in the log:
00:01:00.655 : <ERROR> [dx11] error creating render target view
00:01:00.655 : <ERROR> [dx11] meta_copy: failed to create SRV (0x887a0005)

In your config file, set this to 0
uset cf_asus_aura "0"

<ERROR> [dx11] meta_copy: failed to create SRV (0x887a0005)
is a video driver problem.
you can change to opengl rendering.
or change drivers version.

Re: Help with Black Screen Crashing
@Tom The most frequent cause of this error that I've seen here and on the steam forums is the asus aura setting. I also experienced it myself on my previous PC. Turn that setting to 0 and the crashes go away for a lot of people. Another cause we've seen is overclocked GPU's.
