Force Feedback Options Greyed Out?

Certain force feedback options are greyed out. What gives?

gamepad only, not meant for wheels because they dont have rumble motors in them (for all i know)

@riverty If you are using a logitech product, turn the gain down to below 2/3rd otherwise your wheel will porpoise when you are driving due to how your wheel is built by the way the video below is normal behaviour and i do not see as a bug due to the fact that the high gain is needed for less sensitive FFB wheels. The G29 is quite sensitive, Heaven knows what it would be like if i had a professional racing sim wheel worth north of $4000! id imagine then anuthing above 1/4 would be bad as the wheel would be super sensitive, especially if it was a direct drive

xXCARL1992Xx I don't think thats correct as I can manipulate the same ones in ETS, just ATS that they are grayed out for me as well

Humm, indeed the launchpad in ETS2 you can adjust those 3 fields, but once inside the profile they are grayed out. If you adjust them in the launchpad it does change them in the profile also. Not sure it changes anything in the game, didn't try driving with it yet. Maybe tomorrow....

Yes I tried the same as ETS but all force feedback options are greyed in the options menu before launching profile in ATS

doesnt change the fact that they are still gamepad only and dont mean anything for you if you use a steering wheel, they dont have any effect if you dont use an at least Xbox game pad, because before you load your profile the game doesnt know what device you have, so ofc all options are available, the moment you load you profile it detects a wheel and grays out the last 3 options

I know this thread is nearly a year old but I'm having the same issues on both ATS and ETS2. I have a Fanatec DD Pro wheel and base and in game I have ZERO control over FFB settings.
