Problem with rendering
Problem with rendering
Hey guys, I have problem with rendering. As you can see on the screens, rendering is set so low. I can see how shadows of the cars are rendering in front of me, also the details of cars. I tried everything (reinstall game, unninstall geforce experience, tried some settings in nvidia) and nothing helps.
Also, you can see, that lines on road are not good, its annoying. Ligts of cars in night are horrible. I cant see properly signs until im close to them. All of that you can see on screenshots.
Does anybody had the same problem and fix it? I dont know what to do anymore... I have everything in settings on ultra/high. Thanks for help

First 3 screens, check for "red circle" how first theres no sign, then 1 and then 2..
The last 2 screens you can see, how I cant see anything on signs, until I close to them, also that lights on cars which is annoying.
Everything is problem of rendering and I dont know, what to do. Where or how I can just adjust that render.

Re: Problem with rendering
So, I try some things and its better (but not best)
What I did is this:
In launch settings I put this:
-64bit -unlimitedlog -mm_pool_size 4000 -mm_max_resource_size 100 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000
In config I change:
uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192"
uset r_mirror_view_distance "900"
uset g_lod_factor_parked "15"
uset g_lod_factor_traffic "15"
uset g_lod_factor_pedestrian "15"
uset t_averaging_window_length "60"
And I downloaded NvidiaProfileInspector and change some things from this site: https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1000
As I said, now its better (but not best) I lost some fps but still its pretty smoothly.

Re: Problem with rendering
Just a tip regarding "averaging_window_length" you will want to set as it double your current refresh rate.
As your refresh rate of your monitor is 144hz and you have V Sync on, set it to 288.
You can find more info about that here: https://roextended.ro/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1865

Re: Problem with rendering
@boxolop The pool size you've set indicates that you have between 7 and 8GB of RAM in your machine.
The correct values for pool size are:
4GB 2048
8GB 4096
16GB 8192
32GB 16384

Re: Problem with rendering
@Digital X Oh, good to know. And is it okay if I have around 50-90 fps? (I mean, I dont have 144fps so far, not even 288, if you know what I mean
@Madkine Thanks for that
@Madkine Thanks for that
Re: Problem with rendering
@boxolop Yes it's fine. Whatever your refresh rate of your monitor is set to, set that to double in averaging_window_length.
For example:
uset t_averaging_window_length "120" if you have 60hz refresh rate.
For example:
uset t_averaging_window_length "120" if you have 60hz refresh rate.
Re: Problem with rendering
Thanks!
But still, game is not look like for others, like I can see on streams, how I remember on old PC. As I said, its better than before, but still not good.
So, is it problem in directx and new version of game? Will it be fixed? Or the problem is on my side?

Re: Problem with rendering
I get rubber banding with my system specs, I'm not 100% sure of the cause to be honest. It could be down to a lot of things.
Re: Problem with rendering
I have done some testing with this rubbernecking...
Only seems to happen on certain route for me. On one route, if I turned down the Grass setting, it went away. On another route, if I turned down the Tree's Setting it went away. Other routes I ran out of things to turn down ~shrug~
Running bumper view instead of cab view sometime helps... there is always a big differences in frame rate also (not sure that is related though)

Re: Problem with rendering
Cabin view requires more resources as it also has to render the mirrors.
