Beta profile to Full release

I was wondering about my beta profile will work on the full release if the game is going to be 1.8 ?

It will work unless you corrupt it with some unorthodox mods

Just to add to that. The open betas (which more closely resemble release candidates) are just early versions of what is planned to be the main update. So in 99.9999% of cases beta to > full version is the same as going to previous full version > new full version.

The only time you may have an issue is if you want to revert from beta to previous full version. But you already know that bit

Short answer should be, yes. Although, it's advisable that, when the 1.28 stable version is released, you should change back to the stable branch in Steam betas tab. Even though the last 1.28 beta patch will be identical with the stable 1.28 release, you never know what can happen.

And in that revertion case you are encouraged to keep at least 1 backup folder for you profiles in each backwards verison, just in case you get corrupted when going back
