New Mexico
New Mexico
Will this be paid or not? Some of my Friends told me it will be paid and some says it free. For myself I really don't know and I saw nothing in the Blog about it being free or paid.

Re: New Mexico
Reckon when it's released we'll all find out for sure. Before then, without official confirmation, no one can accurately tell you the answer.

SCS wanted to release ATS with 3 states, California, Nevada and Arizona
but Arizona didnt get finished in time to release it with ATS but SCS didnt want to make it a paid DLC so you get it for free
Arizona was a free DLC because you bought it WITH ATSIt is also public knowledge by now that we are hard at work on the state of Arizona. On the packaging of the retail box, there is actually an explicit statement that DLC Arizona will unlock for owners of this game edition when it's eventually finished. We are delighted to confirm that Arizona DLC will also be a free game update for everybody. You will just have to wait for it a little bit longer, this part of the world is still under development.

Re: New Mexico
As CARL1992 stated, AZ and NV were suppose to ship with the game. They didn't for they were not release ready so they released as free when it really was ready.
Nemofoxx, expect every dlc SCS puts out from this point on to be paid dlc. They have bills and staff to pay. In order to progress, we can not expect them to give us free dlc. The only thing that is guaranteed to be free are updates. SCS even stated that the future of the game is basically in our hands. When they release content, the support it gets will determine how they proceed. Profits from this content goes to that future development.

My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: New Mexico
technically, AZ was intended to be bundled with game for free only for ATS pre-orders. but publishers screwed something with their promises so we decided not to rise emotions and gave it to everyone.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

Re: New Mexico
Gotta love them publishers. Oh well, I'm glad AZ was free either way. Can't wait for NM, no matter its price.
