Saving notification breaking immersion

Hi,

Is there any way to turn off the saving notification in the upper left hand corner? It's really distracting when I'm in the game.

yes, there is variable in config. its name is something like g_save_icon ... (i do not remember exact name, but i could look for it on monday)

Set it to 0 and the icon will be gone
It's located in the config.cfg file in the game's folder in "My Docs". You can open and edit it with a notepad.
Optionally, I guess you can use the ingame console for that aswell.

Some like it, some don't. I actually like the addition of it. I know for sure when my qsave is working. Before that, I had to use my TrackIR, turn my head and hit save just to see the frame rate drop. Now, I can tell right away without frame rate drop. It doesn't stay there for more than 3-5 seconds. Plus, I barely see it in the very top corner. My truck is very dark in that corning and I have to actually focus and look just to see it. But like I said, some like it and some don't.
