Re: Weight stations: Entry, "Empty" lane, and Exit
i think if there is a way to add this to the game. i dont know what would trigger this but im sure someone at scs can get creative. what about having 2 sets of lights one for the weight scale and one for the empty trailer lane and the game will red light one of the lanes and green light the other one. the green light lane is the one to enter and the red light one to avoid. just a thought or suggestion. so if you get a red light on the dash as you come up to the exit for the weight station the game will decide which lane to put you in. if you get green light you continue as normal. and what about weight stations having a open and closed sign at certain times and certain days.

Better idea would be just to always give the bypass if you are empty until SCS can add a secondary trigger for the empty lane. In most scales in Cali even the empty lane gets weighed, all scs has to do is add a second trigger in the scale.

Actually, I don’t think that “empty” lane is even necessary, I’ve driven bobtail past lots of weigh stations and the PrePass let me bypass them completely.

It's probably best left as it is. There's no real reason to over complicate things.

@nautofon If your transponder has given you the all clear to bypass the station then you are good to go, yes. The sign applies to all trucks, but the transponder service isn't as prevalent IRL.
