Is there a parameter I can change to increase the traffic density?
Thanks

Re: Traffic Density
Set "g_traffic_1" (2 3 4 or 5) - Note this will increase it alot, i do not recommend anything above 2-3.
Traffic mods do a better job at spawning in traffic in a controled and variant regulated way. (not to many dublicates)
Hope this helps!

Re: Traffic Density
You have a few options...
Based on a default win10 install:
Option One:
Learn how to use the console, or follow these simple steps:
Find config.cfg in: C:\Users\yournamehere\Documents\American Truck Simulator
And open it with wordpad and change these two lines:
uset g_developer "0" change 0 to 1
uset g_console "0" change 0 to 1
Save the file
Now when in game press ~ (this may be different in some cases)
A console window should popup, type "g_traffic 2" for more traffic, this works upto "g_traffic 10"
(btw, don't type the quotes)
Keep in mind that this way all AI traffic including trains and trams will go up.
Also btw, when you type "g_traffic" and hit enter it will show you the current setting
Another way is to make a mod with this file:
def\world\traffic_rules_spawn.sui
To find that file you need to extract the SCS game def.scs file with the scs extractor
You can find def.scs here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2
You can find the extractor and instructions on how to use it here:
https://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Docume ... _Extractor
When you have found the file make a new folder in your mod folder, name it anything you like and add a new folder named "def"
add a folder named "world" in "def"
So it looks like this "C:\Users\yournamehere\Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod\anythingyoulike\def\world"
copy and paste "traffic_rules_spawn.sui" to "world"
Open "traffic_rules_spawn.sui" with wordpad and make the changes you want, and save the file.
And you're done.
