low air pressure stuck in road
low air pressure stuck in road
This has happened 3 times today and have lost a lot of $$$ as I don't know how to fix and have to bale on the load. How do I fix or prevent this, I don't know what is happening..
Re: low air pressure stuck in road
Simplest way, turn off air pressure simulation in settings.
If keeping it on:
To fix low air pressure, put your truck in neutral and rev the engine for a while.
To prevent low air pressure:
1. Keep your truck well maintained, a truck with damage will lose air pressure more easily.
2. Don't over use the brakes.

Also, try not to overspeed in cities where you would be brake a lot. Use retarders to minimise service braking.

Use cruise control above all
Imo something is a bit off with the pressure tanks, moving around the yeard a bit emties them
Maybe it is fixed in later vesions? But my experience in the game you need to move / drive to build up pressure IRL you set the truck in neutral and rev up a little

Actually I’ve seen the pressure increasing in both the cases.

Thanks, I might try it again

Re: low air pressure stuck in road
Yeah, setting the transmission to neutral and revving it for a bit seems to have done the trick for me. Doesn’t work if you’re using the simple automatic transmission. Idling (without revving the engine) also doesn’t work as it doesn’t spin the air compressor fast enough to generate any useful air pressure at all.

Just started and haven't tried to figure out different trannies.
Thanks
