If I buy Idaho and Washington will they be connected to the original states, as I bought Colorado and it isn't?????

Idaho has road connections to the base game (US 93 and ID-51/NV 225) but Washington doesn't. The fact that Colorado is missing a very feasible road connection to the base game through Four Corners has been discussed before but sadly has not been acknowledged by the developers.

Why would there be a state(Washington/Colorado)but you can't drive to it......

There will be many states that you won't be able to drive to if you purchase them alone. You need to look at what you own and where states are before you purchase them if you aren't buying them all.

Even if you can't drive to it, you can teleport to it or take quick jobs there, so it will be usable.
