Maybe on the 6th anniversary of the game release? Kidding. It won't happen probably ever. Look at the latest map expansion DLCs - we have even fewer hotels/motels there! Frankly, I don't recall seeing any functioning hotel in Wyoming yet! They are not planning to limit daycabs to hotels and garages for rest, that's for sure.

Re: SCS Logic
It was never possible to rest everywhere, and hotels never had any special functionality.

It is a which for future development / enhancement
As mentioned it is a missed opportunity

Re: SCS Logic
One that will likely never happen. SCS is too focused on more roads to drive to care about adding new actual gameplay along them.

Re: SCS Logic
Gameplay is programming
SCS had most of their programmers busy for last 3 years on a complete overhaul of the game engine doing very big changes (graphics, sound, now MP).
Maths are simple: relevant gameplay changes will have to wait until enough programmers could be freed from current tasks.

Re: SCS Logic
Sure, they hired 30+ people to the map/asset creation department but cannot afford one programmer to add several simple financial transactions into the game. Makes perfect sense. Let's face it - they just don't want to do this.

It does make perfect sense, just depends on what their priorities are....

In order to hire you need people to apply to the job offerings you have, it is a general problem in the industri - generally speakingrookie31st wrote: ↑13 Oct 2021 14:21 Sure, they hired 30+ people to the map/asset creation department but cannot afford one programmer

Re: SCS Logic
When kids started to cry about traffic violations, SCS quickly adjusted the formulas
When adults asked about tax, utility and insurance bills, SCS ignores them for years.
That's SCS logic.
