Normal cargo v’s Heavy Cargo
Normal cargo v’s Heavy Cargo
Since I’ve started this game I have always kept it on heavy load only and was wondering does everyone do this or is it just me ? . Also what weight changes from normal to heavy. Also I always keep the gears to highest number (18 speed), should I change this ?? Thank you

Play in a way that is fun for you. That's all that counts.

I just wanted to know if is different gear boxes better for different loads and conditions. ?
Re: Normal cargo v’s Heavy Cargo
Imo, the heaviest loads benefit most from an 18 speed. Why, you have more gears. A 13 speed, you can't split the low gear but for 18sp, you can split all gears. For this matter, I only run 18 speed because I still use Freight Market exclusively until SCS floods the game with more cargo. I like to haul a huge variety so I drop trailers and pick them up just like before owned trailers came. The heavier the load, the lower the gears you will need. There are many times I have to start off in LL with heavy loads even on the slightest incline. Now I can't tell you where heavy starts but I feel the need for low gears at 60,000+ lbs. Not only do we have to pull the cargo, but we are also pulling the trailer as well.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

More gears=More transferable power.
More weight=Need for more transferrable power.
