How about service on trucks... oil/oil filter/fuel filter changes, brake work, lights out? 10,000 miles and the engine oil and filter needs changing. That's Real. And even an occasional flat tire on the truck or trailer. Out on the road, road service comes out to change out a bad tire, or you need to be towed in do to fix or repair a blown engine or transmission.

At least the oil/oil filter/fuel filter changes, brake work, lights out would add realism. Do them on the road, at our garages, or at any truck dealer. In real life it has to be done. Show some realism in ETS and ATS.

How about turning packs for the trucks we have and more paint skins for all trucks..

I don't know what SCS has for plans but it would be nice to see other DLC tuning packs (like the Mighty Griffin and DAF Tuning pack) for the other SCS trucks and full support for The Mighty Griffin on the Next Generation Scania (Scania 2016).

never played multiplayer but I have seen some videos and how other trucks behave (unnaturally) plus few idiots drivers much worse than the Ai traffic :lol:
in single player if you play with a few mods that brings into game: additional maps, trucks, traffic vehicles, trailers and cargoes, plus better weather, graphics, traffic density, sounds, engine sounds, flares, economy, physics you will never get bored any longer ;)
Enjoy driving with Real Traffic Density for ETS2 1.28 and ATS 1.29

Would love oil changes, turbo service, buying new tyres etc. Regular maintenance would be a great thing to see in the future.

I would love to see All-Time Statistics so you can see which truck brand and which truck has been driven the most.

I don't think ats needs garages at all. They don't really serve any purpose. Like in ets I own you buy them... what for? You make tonnes of money levelling up, you can buy any truck you want, you can customize it as much as you want. But garages?? They don't change game play one bit, is just cosmetics like in ets2, expanding them - more cosmetics - nothing to customize even. This idea of company in ets2 or ats is completely unnecessary it seems. I think SCS could use some ideas from another pc games developer Astragon and their game - Transroad USA, it's got some good 'how to run company' ideas. They would certainly improve game play in ats... in my opinion.

Yes, the usefulness is low. But it is good they are present. And if it only to have some different models. Like the stations for coaches. More variety of models even before a real purpose might be added.

Maybe one day we will get this: you can choose an own livery for a company you just start, with an own truck/trailer. Then you spend money for more Trucks/Trailers, which you will see in the Ai, first very seldom. And appear as jobs. Then, slowly, the more you buy, the more you will see on the road and as a job to choose.

This could be extended by taking over whole standard game companies, with all liveries and logos. Personally, I'm less interested in such, but some people are delving much more into the finer aspects of an economy.

And if there was no garage players would complain "I don't even have a headquarter!" I guess that's the minimal function it has to have, otherwise it wouldn't even make sense to have a city as your basis.
