Wishlists Megathread
Re: Wishlists Megathread
Having to roll down your window to go through a toll-booth. Add a bit of immersion and actually give us a reason for rolling down the windows.

Different coinsurance coverages this is what could be though your welcome to expand upon this
Say coinsurance number 1 gives you the lowest out of pocket cost but the worst coverage for damage on trucks and trailers
However coinsurance company number 2 would be a balanced option so medium cost and medium coverage for maintaining your trucks and trailers
Finally we have coinsurance number 3, this one would be the most expensive option however, it comes with the best coverage for maintaining your trucks and trailers
Note that this will also depend on how many trucks you have and that if you don't have coinsurance, you'll have to pay full price for repairs done in your trucks and trailers.
Also give coinsurance for ets2 if that's not a thing yet

Re: Wishlists Megathread
Coinsurance is totally not a thing in Europe, therefore ETS2 doesn’t have it.
Re: Wishlists Megathread
If you're in a day cab, then you can only sleep at motels/hotels. Would give a tangible reason for getting the sleeper, to get more sleep points.
Re: Wishlists Megathread
^I wish that is how it played out. I've said the same thing years ago. I'm sure someone said it well before I mentioned it as well. Hotels and Motels are becoming extinct though. Newer dlc's are pretty much all truck stops and rest stops. The base map is where the hotels are. It would be nice to force those of us in day cabs to use hotels but they must bring back hotels and motels. Spread them around. Its not like there isn't space for them. There are tons of inactive prefabs that can be removed and place a hotel/motel.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: ATS 1.42 speculation thread
There's alot that I, especially as a real life trucker, would like to see brought in to play around with and show off with friends. Not sure what the devs would think of this list, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess.
Kenworth T800
Peterbilt 567
Kenworth T880
Freightliner Classic XL
Kenworth T600/T660
Freightliner Century/Columbia
Freightliner Coronado and Coronado Classic
International Prostar and LT
flat roof option for more trucks than the 389
shorter sleeper variants
more truck axle options, like steerable liftable third "drive" axle
step deck dry van and flatbed trailers
half fenders
full fenders
single axle fenders
diamond plate fenders
customizable dash/interior, so I don't have to have the TV screen on the dash, or auto trans buttons somewhere when I've equipped an Eaton manual
halogen headlights, both in the look on the front of the truck, and how it looks on the road. It's an extra custom option, looks arguably better, and more appropriate especially on the longnose trucks
Bridgestone/Firestone and Michelin/BFG tire packs maybe? with more variety in tread pattern? And in how it all functions?

Oh, and definitely a used truck market, for those of us starting out, and especially for the out of production truck models.
