Re: Wishlists Megathread
I don't see a problem with the night brightness in either game. This is 11:00 PM in both games at approximately the same latitude. The only difference in visibility I see here is that the ETS2 headlights are better, which is realistic because LED headlights offer better visibility to halogen headlights.

@supersobes Thats just it, the Freightliner should have the LED flare as well since they come with LED lights, same with the Mack and the Western Star but ATS doesn’t have the LED flare for some reason.

Re: Alaska's ice roads
I came up with the idea that I could include it in the project in the future. It would be superb to make your way through Canada on Alaska's ice roads. Where to put chains on wheels on icy roads would be fantastic.
Re: Wishlists Megathread
Sobes, your screenshot with the Rest Area shows it.
I still get it even with a Vanilla AST and ETS2.... so it isn't mod related.

I've hauled ass down the road to deliver new cars and trucks, fuel, freight, and produce. Now I'm addicted to ATS doing the same thing in a simulation.

I guess I don't really understand what it is your pointing out then. I don't see anything out of the ordinary in my screenshot with the Rest Area sign.
Re: Wishlists Megathread
SCS mentioned the driving school on the 2020 Xmas stream. Swift reached out earlier this year for SCS to contact them. That tweet was several months after that stream.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

The ability to map a key to do multiple things would be cool. Sometimes in other games, I like to have one keypush do multiple actions at once.

Slider for steering wheel turning speed to truck speed ratio (needed for keyboard users). Right now, my setting for wheel turning speed is too high for highways (causing violent direction changes), but too slow for on-site maneuvers (causing need to wait to turn the steering wheel enough). If we had a speed-dependency slider, I would increase it, then on highways I could do gentle direction modifications and at sharp turns I'd need to wait less for the wheel to turn. TY.

Different spin to the Oversized Load banners... not the ability to put on/take off at any point. But more simply a requirement to have them purchased prior to being able to accept any oversized load. Then the game adds/removes them as required for loads. Beacons as well if required. Game already adds OS banners to non-owned equipment, so the code is there somewhere. Eventually you could make it look at the requirements for each state... and holy grail is that once you move to something like the oft mentioned tandem slide and some kind of state based law enforcement of load distribution then the state based OS load regs could be added to this. PS when you do this PLEASE have an in game reference for this stuff... the casual users are going to enjoy the challenge, but struggle!
Heck I'm sure there is probably an OSHA requirement to have beacons on a construction site or farm! Don't know, I'm an Aussie.

On Youtube there is a funny mock-up video in which you could pick up hitchhikers and they told stories in the cabin and generally behaved strangely. Such content could really diversify the gameplay.
