If you drive long enough you can got to sleep in your truck anywhere :lol
I do agree though, I'd like to be able to sleep anywhere, and getting potential fines for sleeping in bad places. I wouldn't want to get fined every time, but I don't know 60% probability you do and 40% you get away with... or vice versa.

Maybe not anywhere, but, Sleepers can rest anywhere "OFF" the road, say at gas station or at the company where you load unload or at a truck dealer... and, off course at tzhe usual resting places, free of charge. Daycabs need a resting place with a Motel to rest and are charged 60$-100$ per sleeping period.
Re: Sleeper cab functionality.
I need this function, too! This is strange that I need to drive 200+ miles in the desert to find a parking spot to sleep there, instead of stopping in the middle of nowhere and go to sleep, because I have a sleeper cab, why can't I use it?
I could understand, if I have a daily cab, I can't sleep anywhere, because I haven't a bed inside of a truck, but if I have it, I should have possibility to use it.
