I have decided to start this idea on improving the use of hazmat cargo types for ATS. I will be listing down some ideas of new cargo ideas to add. I will be taking a look what I find on the wiki and the internet research.

I decided to suggest some trailers that could come in handy for these hazmat cargo ideas even some existing trailers could use some hazmat cargo new hazmat cargo.

@Tails propane trailers are used for anhydrous ammonia as well and can be set up to pull both actually.

@Larry71490, anhydrous would be great too for the Farmer's Barn prefabs, the farms themselves, etc.

I would like to see some risks or penalties added to hauling these kinds of loads. Have an accident or drive recklessly, then lose your "skill" to haul hazardous loads for a period of time. Or if it's a severe accident, completely lose your truck and incur some stiff fines. Or maybe instead of being tied to a "skill", you can only haul these loads if you maintain a perfect driving record for a certain period of time.

They could add a reputation feature into the game, that fluctuates based on how well you drive and how punctual you are with deliveries. Then your reputation could be tied to how much you get paid for deliveries and whether you qualify to haul hazardous, fragile, or valuable loads. That would make important and urgent deliveries a little more risky.

At the rate you're going, they're going to have to invent a whole new game, Hazmat Trucking Simulator lol.

I wonder if that can be done with a mod? Replace all the existing industries/cargo in game with chemical companies and hazardous cargo. Then have a suicide mode, where if you have a bad enough accident you die and have to start your profile over. Batman Arkham Origins had a suicide mode, where you had to complete the entire game without dying or you had to start all over. That certainly made the game more interesting haha.
