Hello guys,
I was wanting to suggest having a marker interrupt switch placed in the game! I think it would be easier to use when truck drivers flash us over.
Thank you.

Re: Marker Interrupt Switch
its a button that truckers use to quickly flash the marker lights on their rig. this is a real thing.
I'm on a mission to ensure the city of Pittsburgh is accurately represented in ATS.

Re: Marker Interrupt Switch
So similar to flashing your headlights, but with the marker lights on the truck and trailer instead?

Re: Marker Interrupt Switch
When you pass a truck, they will flash their headlights to say "clear to move over", at which point you flash your marker lights to say "thank you". There is a switch (or in case of the truck(s) I drive, a set of buttons on the steering wheel) to do this without having to reach down to the light knob.
Honestly, the only way I see this as a useful feature is for those few players who build their own realistic dash and controller setup. Otherwise, simply having a "back" option to the lights (similar to how you toggle to a slower windshield wiper function without having to cycle trough the faster ones) would work the exact same here. If you have your headlights on, your marker lights are already on as well. To say "thank you", simply toggle forward to off, then back to on, repeat. To say "clear to move over", toggle back to marker only, then forward to marker+headlight, repeat.
This feature should have been added at the same time as that for the wipers. Not sure why they didn't think about that.

Re: Marker Interrupt Switch
When a truck passes another truck the one behind will flash his headlights to tell the one in front that he has clear him and it is safe for him to get in front. Then the one that is in front will usually flick his trailer light as a gesture of thanks for the safe passing.. Don't need any special switch for this action....
