Realistic Acceleration and engine braking

#1 Post by trainguy_gaming » 23 Jul 2021 20:37

I think SCS need to make acceleration realistic cause I go through gears too fast and also when jake braking it slows down too fast

@Grizzly I do but it's the same for every engine.

That's certainly not my experience. So if you're towing the transformer up a hill with a 350 hp motor it accelerates too quickly?

You can also set a key to change the strength of the jake brake on most vehicles. Set a key to increase and one to decrease engine brake, that way if you need more engine brake you can increase it. This all depends on the individual truck def files if it works or not, most allow it.
