Heavier Rain

It would be nice to see even heavier rain when the rain probability is at 100% in ATS. In real life, it rains super super hard sometimes.

Severe weather is unlikely to ever happen in ATS, due to the damages it causes (especially the task of modeling every single asset in the game to respond to such damage). It would be very nice, though. There are many posts and threads around here about weather and seasons.

I've proposed severe thunderstorms over in the Texas discussion thread a few times. It would be nice to get that weather upgrade for the Texas dlc. Severe storms in Texas would be 3-5 times heavier than what we get now in ATS. It get to the point where you have to pull over sometimes and the visibility gets very very low.

Tornadoes, no. That's asking for too much. The games are not setup for that. Like bobgrey said, the assets needed are not worth it making them have damage. But heavier rain, yes. Added to that, hail (with no damage). But we need ground effects. Puddling, better splashing, mud and yessssss truck washes. SCS would need to figure out that dirt filter and implement truck washes finally.

Having an option for wind physics would also be nice (similar to the settings we currently have for braking, rollover, etc). Default would be as it is now, where the truck is an immovable brick, but we'd have the option to deal with high winds in certain areas and during storms, where the wind is trying to tip you over or push you off the road.
Beyond that, and the dirt aspect, I wouldn't expect any kind of severe (especially damaging) weather.
