Distance might be tricky thought at 1:20 scale. That doesn't give you a lot of time. It might be better off with a time limit. That could be anything. For example 2hrs. I think that is what Steam does if you are to get a refund. Once you play with content for more than 2 hrs, your purchase sticks.

I would say 3 types, there's also those who like both classic and modern trucks. I speak for myself when I say I like classic trucks for their style and modern trucks for the convenience/comfort.
But I have seen other people around the forums who are just as enthusiastic about classic trucks as they are about new trucks.

I think it would be cool to have a second hand dealership for the classic trucks, as it seems realistic you wouldn't start with a mileage of 0 on those. But I can see why some people wouldn't like that.

Yeah I started to mention the hybrid crowd but it seems that people still lean towards one side of the other. That what I was pretty much saying that I like the looks of modern but I'd rather drive the classics. The 49x and the 122SD would be my picks for hybrid but they are vocational and we don't have a strong presence for that market yet.

Why do all that, gotta keep it simple and put pictures on the dlc page like we have on the steam workshop - just make sure you have x number of exterior, and then x number of interior pics... When looking at classic mod trucks to play I always go find interior shots/video test before downloading.

When in doubt... Ask m1keY!

People like hands on. You can't do that with pics. Everyone's pc differs so a pic could vary based on ones pc settings. What about the performance of the truck? If people buy because of an image and the trucks runs like poo, they'd be quite pissed. Test driving is a lot better if something is paid. Mods are free. If you don't like it, drop it. But for SCS, people would be quite harsher on them if something is paid and people don't like it. Look at content now. SCS content vs Mod content gets two different reactions from the crowd when something isn't to their liking. Pics won't do justice in this case.

I'd love to see a classic trucks DLC. Maybe one for every maunfacturer including 3-4 epics.

Peterbilt 359 definitely needs added to the list. It’s probably the most popular old school truck in the US and there’s still a handful on the road. Also need a W900A for sure.

A W900A is too similar to what we have already. That would be a slot taken up when something totally different can get added.

I'd vote for a w900a though, the interior is quite different.

The W900A isn't just more of the same. It's not similar to the W900L at all. One of the most notable differences it that it uses the same cab shape as the Peterbilt 379/389.
