[EN-US] "Used Packagings" Cargo [FIXED]
In English, the word "Packaging" is a strange word because it can be both singular and plural without needing an "S" at the end of it. In ATS and ETS2, there is an "S" at the ends of the "Used Packagings" cargo which is not needed.

Re: [EN-US] "Used Packagings" Cargo
But if there are different types of them, shouldn't it say "Used Packagings"?
I've found out this source for the use of "packagings": https://www.wordhippo.com/what-is/the-p ... aging.html

Re: [EN-US] "Used Packagings" Cargo
I think it should be changed to "Used Packages". It's more proper.
If it is stupid but it works, it isn't stupid.

No, Supersobes is correct. Packaging, when used as a noun, includes more than one item, so it does not need “s.” It is considered to be uncountable. Packagings is a word, but not generally used.
Similar to butter. It’s also uncountable, and no one uses butters.

Re: [EN-US] "Used Packagings" Cargo
What do you call the cardboard, foam, and/or paper that your package is packed it? It's called packaging. Logistic companies and grocery chains recycle their packaging by sending it back to the distribution warehouse for reuse. In this case, it is not packages that they are sending back, just the packaging.

I guess SCS needs to be more specific here then. Since it is all one shipment, I would assume that is is all the same type of packaging such as one shipment of used cardboard or one shipment of packing peanuts.IonutL wrote: ↑17 Jun 2019 18:29But if there are different types of them, shouldn't it say "Used Packagings"?

Didn't relate it to the picture. Mb

I'd lean toward "packaging" since it seems to be exclusively cardboard boxes and it sounds more correct to me.
