I wouldn't play it even if it was given to me. Doesn't look like it will hurt SCS, unless they come up with something SCS hasn't thought of. One question. Does Alaska have highways like shown in the video of a narrow trail with a drop off into nothingness? If there is, they're nothing like what was in the 2 videos. I'd expect something like "Ice Road Truckers". That's more believable than what I saw in the Alaskan Truck Simulator's videos. That road looked like it was from the Andes Mountains, or in India and/or Pakistan. I must admit tho that their graphics as pretty darned good and realistic. That said I still wouldn't buy it.
On the other hand it looks like they have flat tires and need to do maintenance. I've run over 1400 loads with 2 profiles in ATS and not had a flat tire, done an oil change, or any other bit maintenance on any truck I've driven. To me it hurts the immersion of a so-called, as the title states it is, "simulation". Other than that , ATS has come a long ways since I started playing it. I'm glad I fought for the air hoses and electrical cord from the truck it the trailer. A few said it couldn't be done, but SCS found a way.
