Gaming chairs.
What kind of chair do you use for gaming?
I was researching them and didn't see any that I liked. They all looked like they reclined too much for me. In a real truck seat you tend to sit up very straight so I went to a local truck salvage yard and bought a genuine KW high back air ride seat out of a 2013 W900. With the addition of a small piece of plywood for a base, some modification to the air line, a DC powered tire inflator, and a motorcycle battery I now have the most realistic truck sim seat in the world. Sure, it doesn't have motion actuators or force feedback but the realism/immersion factor is incredible.

The bigger they are, the harder they haul!

I looked at similar chairs but rejected them because of the wheels. They tend to roll backwards as you use the pedals.Virgo91 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2021 12:36 This is my chair.$200 and have functions and is comfortable.

As for pix of my setup, I'll have to figure out how to do it first.

A discussion about chairs is of course not complete without mentioning the Ikea Markus chair. It is not a gaming chair but more a serious office chair. I've been using it for about 7 years now and it still looks new.

Re: Gaming chairs.
Good office chair of I-didnt-care-the-brand many years ago that soon I will replace for another one. I purchase them on office equipment specialized stores. The only change I'm planning is to move to a meshy surface chair while now I've one with textile upholster.
I think that if you have the time and possibility to go to such kind of stores, even if a bit more expensive than on "big chains", the kind of stuff one can find there worth the extra money. Of course, it could be different depending on each country.
Regards
