ATS 1.40 open beta : Screen Backgrounds Dark

The animated screen backgrounds arrived at after initiating loading of the game, appear dark like an underexposed photograph or video. Certainly darker than with ATS 1.39 and earlier game versions (when I first purchased ATS, it was at G.v. 1.29.1.1s)

This darkening has been experienced with each update since I first joined the open beta (ATS G.v. 1.40.0.53s)

Note : No game crash occurred.

Once I am in my truck, on a contract, or free driving around, everything is visually okay (stunning, actually) commensurate with whatever is the then local time of day or night!

The same experience also occurs with ETS-2 1.40 open beta (currently using G.v. 1.40.0.134s)
