Hello. I am asking since I am a Mac user, but from time to time, I switch to Windows via Bootcamp and enjoy the simulators with higher resolution and graphic settings, while clearly using my Apple Keyboard.
Now, I am using the F16 key in macOS to do 'something' while using ETS2 and ATS. This same key in Windows 10, seems to be implicitly dedicated to PAUSE the simulators. Now, to retain the (almost) identical mapping between the two different Operating Systems, I would need for the F16 key in Windows to NOT pause the Sims.
Is there any way I can unassign such function? Is there a way to do this? I have searched the net for possible results, and I am getting tons of pages, but none seems to be of any help to me (remember: I use an Apple Keyboard).
I was wondering: is there a way to perform such a thing, perhaps editing the “controls.sii” files or something like that?
Thank you very much.

Think this would be for future wishlist/suggestion viewforum.php?f=185

@parasaurolophus67, thank you for the suggestion. But I don't understand what it would be better that I did. Should I wait for mods/admins to change the position of this very post, or should I actually copy and paste this same topic/post within the suggested section? In the latter case, there would be a double topic, somewhere within the forums, and I am afraid that this would not be a good thing.
Which of the two options would be best, on your opinion?
Thank you for your advice.

Re: Unassign the PAUSE key in Windows for the Simulators?
I've used SharpKeys in the past for similar problems. Don't know if it can remap the PAUSE key, but I've used it to e.g. remap Apple's cmd key (which Windows confusingly treats as the "Windows" key) to "ctrl" so that shortcuts like cmd-C/cmd-V work as expected in Windows.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

@nautofon, hmmm, interesting. Will likely give it a try ASAP. Thank you for the suggestion.
