Favorite truck

#1 Post by RTobi » 22 Oct 2017 20:36

Out of all the trucks in the game at the moment, what's your favorite vanilla game truck?

Mine is the Peterbilt 389. Love the detail, look and sound of it. Classic look too. Lots of very nice customization options :)
The 579 looks great as well I think. It's just a little plain with its interior and engine sound.
The W900 is a little too big for my taste. Interesting to drive sometimes but cannot drive it permanently. But it was my #1 truck after they added it to the game.
I like the T680, purchased various types of it and love its look. But the engine sound and missing digital mph display kills it for me lol

Well... tough one... i like both the 389 and the W900 very much, but the 389 slightly wins for 2 reasons: 1. it´s sound, 2nd the visibility when you´re looking from your window to the back... being able to look past the exhaust pipes is a huge plus.
The new models just don´t appeal to me... i get it that they´re designed around better aerodynamics, but i just don´t like those forms ...

I like the Kenworth W900 a lot. I don't like the Kenworth T680 or Peterbilt 579 (I forgot what it was, whatever their aerodynamic truck is), because even though it's aerodynamic, your still going to pull a heavy trailer, right?

You can still pull heavy trailers with the 579 and T680. They have 600 brake cummins engines as well. A 500 brake can also be enough for heavy trailers and a 400 brake engine does well for normal cargo. I do like all of them to be honest.

My point is it's aerodynamic, right? And it's suppose to save diesel. Well, it's still going to be hauling heavy trailers.

W900 for me. I use the daycab in game for maneuverability but the sleeper cab is just gorgeous.

I Drive the KW W900, full extended frame, with the big tanks, the sound is similar to a cummins, i liked the peter built but it sounded like a freight train, and the turbo was barely audible. so made it hard for me to drive since i have owned a few 359's from the 80's with a cat 3406A. i for me its how the trucks sound, so i been stuck in a kenworth. HJopefully ya'll can get licensed for more trucks, but I understand they want big bucks, so Glad Paccar licensed you for the KW's and Pete's
