Neverending Truck stop..

One of my biggest issues with this game is the roadside rest stops with gas stations. I have been all over southern US and have NEVER seen one. We only have REST stops. That is parking only. The gas stations are full on truck stops (service station) and are typically on a local highway, just off the freeway, and are quite large, like this TA. There is also typically more than one at these exits.

Back to the topic. These are quite common to be large and expansive, though this particular one is on the larger end.

August 1999. Somewhere in Indiana. We pulled into a truck stop. It was a Sunday around 4pm. There were 1475 parking spaces (I asked) and we couldn't get a park.

You must be thinking of Iowa 80 in I-80 on Iowa. Largest truck stop in the world with over 900 parking spaces.

Coooooould be lol It was my first time in the USA. I was a passenger in the truck because we didn't get our Senator coach until two weeks into the tour and I wasn't sitting up in a passenger coach surrounded by drunken rock n roll misfits and trying to sleep
We were doing overnighters and most of the time I was sleeping while in the truck but I don't remember going to Iowa.
That's not to say I didn't .. lol ..
