Favourite RL YouTube Trucker Channels

#1 Post by OttoReverse » 14 Apr 2021 14:10

What are some of your favourite real life trucker YouTube channels?

Here are some I've been watching...

This is a new one and he's getting a 20 year old Freightliner Classic ready for the road. Mechanically it is good, but he's working on the interior and some minor electrical.
FSC Speed Shop. Steve's channel was car focused until he posted a video of his Pete 352 which he uses regularly for work. His audience grew based on the truck videos and it has been his main focus ever since. His truck was built in 1984 and so he named it Orwell.
This one a lot of you may already be familiar with. TwinStick Garage. He is rebuilding a Pete 359 and an older KW W9.
Another 359 rebuild by a man who's mechanical knowledge seems to know no bounds.
I tend to gravitate towards the rebuilds/restoration channels, but this one is a life on the road type. Just a "warning", Dooner likes to swear but he is usually comical with it.

One that I've really been enjoying is Ron Pratt. His channel is all about towing and recovery, mainly for large trucks and heavy machinery. He has a Peterbilt 389 configured as Century 1150R tow truck, and it's very cool to see it in action.

Some big heavy haul (wind turbine parts etc) with a W900 tri-drive.
C1 Specialized:

This one is a company who run a fleet of mainly pre-emission and glider KW's and Petes. Talks a bit about their trailers and the business side as well.
