Thanks to the guides on here and a generous use of photoshop cs3 here is my first skin. As you've seen from my other posts I need things spoon fed so this isn't going to set the world on fire but it's getting there...

Here is the original picture I went from, I couldn't find any other pics so this was all I had. I've also added a bunch of detail including the company name I use in game called "RB Transport" and a few Freightliner photos.

Here's my version, max respect to the rest of you guys/gals that skin, didn't take me long to get the front in, but then about 3hrs to get the aero panels to line up

Here we go, skin #2 in ATS. I've got a ton of 'retro' looking skins and because they are quite simple shapes I can a) do them, and b) really like the way they come out.

This one was originally on a MACK, and when RTA update theirs I will put it on there and change the 389 to another one but I wasn't feeling any of the 389 ones I found. Also I do intend to make this one metallic as soon as I figure out how to do it lol (I have found the threads!)

Here's my version, as you can see it really needs to be made metallic to improve the look. Also I do intend to make my skins "weathered" eventually, but I need to build up my skills to that

Thanks for the compliments all, I am getting there.

In today's news something was agitating me around the 389 skin, I think it's a combination of not being able to get metallic to work and the colour of the lower section just not being quite right for me.

So to stop the itch in my head here's another 389 skin, again inspired from a MACK, this time a RS700.

I am happy I got the front working correctly, although due to my lack of skill each side is made up for four sections warped to form the pattern you see. Also alittle bit of a confession, I don't think the sides are quite equal because when I was doing the back I could not get them to line up with my original design for the back... hence;

Anyway, back to the cabovers tomorrow, I'm going to give the K108 a try and see how I get on, I've got quite a few retro looking designs I would like to do.
