@BK Vissers, @Hakan - Thanks guys. I thought some of those shots sold the realistic look too. :)

Well, my tire wear has now been reset since I had changed my truck tires when I upgraded. The new tires are quite smaller.

I noticed the truck cab has been a little shaky when I steer on the roads at high speed since then. Shaky in a smooth way though - I'm not getting any suspension noise from it.
I think it might be because of the smaller tires but not sure. But the tires I'm using now should be more fuel efficient.

I also changed my transmission to an 18 speed Eaton Fuller. It's a slight improvement for fuel economy at high speeds. Not sure about the lower gears though.
The engine is still 370 hp. I've not really needed it to be any higher.

The chassis has been upgraded to a mid-lift one (same chassis length as before), because the axle can be lifted to save more fuel.

I have a habit of lifting the trailer axle on every trailer. Doesn't matter what trailer it is.

Time to finally wash the truck before sending it back to the garage to send over to my next employee.

The final drive with this truck. :( I'm actually gonna miss this truck because this is the last time in a while where I'm not changing trucks every week.
I've also gotten quite used to driving this particular truck that it's quite a breeze to drive. Now I'll have to deal with different trucks with different handling and transmissions and stuff.

The Kenworth T800 2016 edition was the next truck in the line-up for ATS. But unfortunately now that GT-Mike is away from the modding scene I guess I'll have to choose another truck for my next ATS truck.
I will be checking out the classic Kenworth T800 in ETS2 though! ;)

Nice shots and I love that skybox. I might have to give that one a try; been tempted for a while. ;)

Beautiful shots!

There's a 1.27 version of the T800 that was posted to atsmods.lt yesterday. Unfortunately whiever did it didn't do what is needed to make it OpenGL compatible so I can't use it but maybe it suits your purpose?

@BK Vissers - Hmm, I'll think I'll wait a while for a fully compatible T800. I can always try out other trucks until then.

Now that the Kenworth T680 is ready to be used for an employee, I've bought myself a new truck - the Kenworth W900!

The stock sounds for this are not so bad. I guess SCS put in more effort for the sounds for this truck. :)

Driving through a tunnel! 8-) I like the look of this truck. Very cozy in the interior too. It's quite the office!

Returned to the garage

That truck driver had an altercation with another truck driver on my side of the road and now they're blocking the road.
The drivers refused to clear the path so I have no choice but to go around. :x

Easy does it. Now have to swing back to the right side of the road. Huge respect to the girl in the classic car for leaving some space for me. :)

Trailer axle lifted. Check. This is going to be tight with this long truck!
[ external image ]

Checking my mirror. Very close to that car but should be enough room.
[ external image ]

Yes! We're clear!! :o

See ya later people who don't know how to drive off road!! ;D

Hey that's the trailer mod from Smarty! I really like the animated fan and the little green light on the trailer. Very nice details!
[ external image ]

When I look back from the window I can even see the green light. :)
[ external image ]

Gotta love the sunroof of the truck too! 8-)
